Cyprus Life – in pictures vs Fylde Coast Musings

Our new life in Cyprus began in early March 2004. Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas spending a glorious 12 years in Limassol. Feel free to read my posts and view my many #photosofCyprus. However in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We're now living on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea in the north west of England. More places for us to discover as this part of the UK is not so familiar to us either.

More chopped ham with pork, sir?

Well, I think I’ve seen it all now!
I woke up this morning to a new follower and more spam from that follower.

This is the second day I’ve deleted their SPAM from my blog comments so you would have thought they may have worked out that their comments are not going to get published…. but no, last night they decided to try a different method becoming one of my blog followers and still tried to post a comment.

Of course it got deleted and today I’ve sent them a polite email:

Thank you for following my blog at but please note any comments which are not relevant or contain spammy advertising links as I have received from you over the last 2 days will be reviewed and deleted.
No comments are published without first being reviewed by me so basically, if you are trying to advertise your site by posting useless comments – you are wasting your time so perhaps you will want to “Unfollow” my blog.
Many thanks

I do so hate being referred to as “mate” from people I don’t know 😦
