Fylde Coast Musings vs Cyprus Life – in pictures

Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas at the beginning of March 2004 and spent the next glorious 12 years in Limassol, Cyprus. Sadly, in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We now live on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea just across from Fleetwood. More places to discover and capture on camera!

Help! My husband stopped smoking tonight.

So, what the hell happens now?

He’s been giving it a go with patches and supplements but he doesn’t feel that’s quitting in the real sense – so he’s decided to go “cold turkey”…

Hour 1:

A bit twitchy and fidgety, restless and forgets what he’s supposed to be doing when he gets up from the sofa.

Stop Smoking

Hour 2:

We’re about to eat and watch some TV.

I bought him this book by Allen Carr a few years ago but he only read a few pages and I think one of our friends ended up borrowing it. Neither of them gave up!

We could be in for a sleepless night….

More thrilling instalments to follow 🙂
