Fylde Coast Musings vs Cyprus Life – in pictures

Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas at the beginning of March 2004 and spent the next glorious 12 years in Limassol, Cyprus. Sadly, in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We now live on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea just across from Fleetwood. More places to discover and capture on camera!

An airbrushed McDonald’s? I think not…

So, it’s not quite an “airbrushed” McDonald’s Quarter Pounder with Cheese but this below does explain quite simply why the burgers in the food adverts always look better than they do in reality.

No hidden tricks. They use the exact same ingredients but they are just placed a little differently for the photo shoot than they are in store. That’s always good to know. 🙂

The implicit message: We’re not hiding anything. We know you’re aware that advertising photos lie. We know you’ve heard of Photoshop and that you edit your own photos. You can trust us.
