My parents come to visit us in Cyprus every November for 4 weeks so we try to get out and about a bit where possible. Not always so easy when working full time so this year, I’ve tried to take a day off each week so I can have a longer weekend.
The other Saturday we visited the new port to see the Cunard ship Queen Elizabeth during her short stay in Cyprus and today we walked along part of the “boardwalk” at the Ancient Amathus end of Limassol on the east coast.
Of course, the camera came too!
Below are a few shots I managed to take although it was quite windy when walking in the direction of the marina but much more pleasant on the way back… You never know what the weather will have in store for us so it’s best to make the most of it when the opportunity arises. Luckily, it stayed pleasant and we managed to fit in a nice mug of tea at Chaser’s Bar afterwards 🙂
But this evening, it’s rained quite heavily for the major part of the evening over on the west side of Limassol where we live. I hope mum and dad fared a bit better as they were planning to go back to Chaser’s this evening for the quiz.
