Cyprus Life – in pictures vs Fylde Coast Musings

Our new life in Cyprus began in early March 2004. Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas spending a glorious 12 years in Limassol. Feel free to read my posts and view my many #photosofCyprus. However in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We're now living on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea in the north west of England. More places for us to discover as this part of the UK is not so familiar to us either.

The continuation of our journey into the Larnaca district of Cyprus for the Oxi Day public holiday on 28 October 2011. (Check out my previous post for the first half of our journey to Lefkara village).

We ended our day by having lunch at the Kings River pub opposite where the train is displayed – and very nice it was too!

It seems their Helen and our Helen have something in common…. Rehoming dogs from Cyprus!

So, add this date to your diary: Saturday 26th November is the day of the Christmas Bazaar at the Kings River pub where proceeds will go to helping raise funds towards sending dogs to Germany.

It starts from 11am and there will be Food, Stalls and a Raffle.
