That put paid to the swimming for today!, a set on Flickr.
Yeah well, the plan for today was as follows:
- Do some “stuff” on ‘internet while my other half re-stained a couple of steamer chairs in the side yard.
- Off to Debenhams to do some shopping with my Gift Voucher I got for my birthday last year before the credit expired on it.
- A spot of lunch.
- Off to the Aphrodite Club swimming pool to do some serious swimming before it gets too cold. After September, that’s it for me – no more pool. I’m a bit nesh* that way…
- Home again and some more internet – work stuff this time though!
But, we were well and truly scuppered 😦
Suddenly the heavens opened and it absolutely poured it down with the rain bouncing off the roofs of both of our cars.
I managed to get some pictures and some more when the sun came back out. Just look at that sky!
