LETTERS ON CYPRUS
I find the decision of Paphos District Office refusal to grant permission for animal charity CVA to operate a phone line extremely mean, short sighted and un-progressive in 2011.
Denial or removal of those services reverts us back to an uncivilised and third world community, while no provision of shelter, food, medicine and care for animals is inhuman and leads to uncontrollable infectious diseases.
Please reconsider your decision, Paphos District Office. Be forward-thinking for Paphos, get rid of your bureaucratic approach. Unite with the island districts and show your humanity and compassion for our community animals. It will cost you absolutely NOTHING to say yes to the Cyprus Voice for Animal’s request.
