Fylde Coast Musings vs Cyprus Life – in pictures

Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas at the beginning of March 2004 and spent the next glorious 12 years in Limassol, Cyprus. Sadly, in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We now live on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea just across from Fleetwood. More places to discover and capture on camera!

Did this really happen to me today?

So, my significant other half reckons he treated me to a lovely day out today which consisted of:

Designer shopping, a meal out, a visit to a 5 star seafront hotel followed by a visit to a spa….

The reality?

A trip to Cartridge World for a replacement cartridge for our HP printer, 2 cheeseburgers and a medium fries at Macdonalds on the seafront, stopped by the Four Seasons Hotel in Limassol to pick up a childs car seat and finally, on to the Club Aphrodite timeshare swimming pool.

Methinks he was lying!

Hmmmm, what do you think – is he winding me up?

  1. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Glad to know he hasn’t changed a bit!
