So far in 2011, our Cyprus weather has been very odd and today it decided to do the dirty on me.
We had a rather large thunderstorm which threw me off the pc due to a loss of electrical power supply 😦
Feeling somewhat miffed at this insult I had to seek other resources for comfort in the techie world I now live in.
It was wet and thundery outside and I find it difficult to sit indoors with a standard paperback book these days – so out came Mr. Kindle.
I switched him on and clicked on the last novel I was reading and there I was – immediately on the page I left it at! I love it, no more losing bookmarks or trying to recall what page I was on. Mr Kindle does it all for me!
So now I’m around 25% through “61 Hours” – a Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child.
Mr Kindle is also sporting a vey snazzy, executive jacket to keep him out of the dust in the summer, warm in the winter and to stop him getting wet or bashed when I’m at the pool.
I got it on eBay, take a look:
If you fancy one like this, ask me which UK seller I got it from and I will be happy to tell you. I got it inside a week dispatched by Royal Mail to Cyprus and was very pleased with the service.
