Fylde Coast Musings vs Cyprus Life – in pictures

Originally from a small mill town in Heywood, Lancashire (United Kingdom) we moved overseas at the beginning of March 2004 and spent the next glorious 12 years in Limassol, Cyprus. Sadly, in 2016 we had to return permanently to UK due to family ill health. We now live on the Fylde coast where the river Wyre meets the Irish sea just across from Fleetwood. More places to discover and capture on camera!

Paphos to Limassol – a road trip

We went to visit friends in Paphos today (Easter Monday).

These are friends I haven’t seen for over 30 years so we had a lot of catching up to do and gaps to fill about life and living in various parts of the world including Egypt and Cyprus.

Instead of travelling back via the highway we chose to take the old road along the coast, passing through Kouklia, Aphrodite Hills, Pissouri, Happy Valley (Episkopi Garrison SBA), Episkopi, Erimi, Kolossi and eventually home to Ypsonas.

They may not be most clearest of shots as the photos were taken through the window of our double cabin truck whilst we were moving, with my Canon IXUS 951S.
