It’s too hot to stay home so off to Curium Beach we go….

It was too hot to stay home yesterday plus we had a mission to accomplish, so off we went to Curium Beach near Episkopi.

The beach is situated below the archaeological site of Ancient Kourion and ampitheatre which is still used for plays and concerts and also ruins from the ancient city of (video link) Kourion.

Further up the hill heading towards the SBA Episkopi Garrison can be found the Temple of Apollo and a Roman stadium.

About cypruslifeinpictures

My new life in Cyprus in images and words. I'm a British 50 something female, originally from Heywood in Lancashire and have been living in Limassol, Cyprus since March 2004. Although this is a blog about my life as an expat in Cyprus you will also find anything and everything else that takes my fancy whether it be in the news or on the internet. Enjoy!
