HolidayTruths forum – finally gone?
It’s a sad day for users of the HolidayTruths forum website as it finally looks like the demise has come about today, Friday 13th April 
The forum has had its’ days numbered since finding out its’ founder Van has family issues due to illness but sadly, information from that department has been very lacking and the forum moderators have been doing their best to carry on but in darkness.
The last we heard was that the subscription was paid up until 12th April (yesterday) and now nobody can access the forum today.
One of the members and moderators of HolidayTruths, Sanji has put up a video loop on Twitter today:

At the moment there is an option of going to the OffTopicLounge which was an offshoot of the HolidayTruths forum and as far as I’m aware it can be accessed from http://www.offtopiclounge.co.uk/
A very sad day for all past users as there was tons of useful holiday information, hotel reviews and tips available for old and new members.

I know…. There was so much information that people have posted over the years that’s now gone forever. I used to frequent a number of different areas of the forum but didn’t realise until it disappeared just how many parts of it I did visit

At the moment they are using the OffTopicLounge which was an offshoot of HolidayTruths site http://www.offtopiclounge.co.uk and it’s by invitation only. As far as I’m aware some members were contacted and given details of how to access the site (I was).
The only way to get on now if you don’t have any email from them is by passing your Username through another member and they will send a code valid for 24 hours.
Eeek, now there’s a question. I havent logged on for a long while. I am sure my username was one of two. Crustyfur or Lankygit. However, not sure what emails are even attatched to the accounts. Hmm. I have the means to get the site back up very quickly, I just can’t get in contact with anyone.
I’ve passed the email address forward that you commented from to one of the Moderators but that’s as much as I can do from the “outside” so to speak…. Writing as an ordinary member.
